About Us

At E.ON, we work to create a secure and sustainable energy system for today's and future society. The team is responsible for district heating distribution in Malmö and works closely with both production and sales operations. We are an experienced and helpful team of 10 people who enjoy working together and are keen to share our knowledge. We are now looking for a Documentation Engineer who wants to contribute to ensuring our district heating network remains modern, safe, and well-documented.

Your Role

As a Documentation Engineer, you are responsible for the documentation of our district heating network in Malmö. The role involves collecting and quality-assuring technical information by requesting and receiving data from projects and contractors, and then ensuring that the documentation reflects reality.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to streamline and develop our documentation-related working methods. You will act as a superuser and user support for our documentation system and collaborate with similar roles at other district heating locations within E.ON. The work also includes reporting and analyzing statistics, preparing regulatory reports and investigations related to the network's status and events. Furthermore, you will support the plant manager and development engineer in their work with detailed planning plans and coordinate the team's customer-related matters.

Your Experience

We believe you thrive in a role that combines independent work with close collaboration. You enjoy structure, precision, and long-term tasks, while also appreciating having people around you and building good relationships in your daily work. To succeed in this role, we see that you have good computer skills and an interest in working with technical systems, along with experience in technical documentation, design, map data, or similar engineering-adjacent work. You are good at analyzing information, noticing details, and collaborating with different roles, and you are curious about contributing to our digital development.

We would appreciate it if you have experience with GIS systems, have worked in the energy or another technical industry, or have an engineering background, or alternatively, a few years of experience in technical management work. We are looking for someone who wants to grow long-term and become truly excellent in their role – at E.ON, it is your attitude, precision, and commitment that make the biggest difference. Therefore, we believe you are a curious person who readily embraces new technology and sees changes as an opportunity to find smarter and more sustainable solutions.

What is it like working with us?

We are a team of 10 with different areas of responsibility who value care and collaboration. Here, you will meet a secure and positive culture where we listen to each other, share knowledge generously, and work together to achieve our goals. The leadership is characterized by clarity, care, and a desire to create good conditions for the team to succeed. Therefore, we offer good benefits so that you feel good and have a good balance between work and leisure. Some of these include reduced working hours that are higher than the industry standard, health insurance, free healthcare, and more!

We warmly welcome you to apply and join us on the path to a sustainable society! The last day for applications is May 17th.
